You can eat the tastiest pizzas, consume delicious pastas or tuck into a freshly caught fish. Have a local gelato to cool at any time of day. Or what about the typical aranchini (rice balls stuffed with mozzarella and ham, or stew)?
In the village (Balestrate) there are several restaurants, trattorias and bars.
Eating out with (small) children is nice. Your friendly host / hostess makes a children’s portion ready while you enjoy a more elaborate meal. Children are always a welcome guest!
Please note: the evening italians dine quite late. And you can’t eat pizzas at noon because the wood furnaces are only lit in the evening.
